K9 Star Productions – established 2021. We are a group of dog lovers who enjoy teaching our dogs skills for sports, fitness, and fun. We have both pure bred and rescue dogs in our group. Many of our dogs compete in various canine sports such as agility, musical freestyle, dog disc games, scent work and more. Each dog has their own special skill set and personality. We aim to bring out the best in each dog. Then we put it all together for your enjoyment.

Partnering with dogs in training and entertainment for over 40 years. What started as a hobby became a passion when Susette started training dogs for competitive agility. She has been competing successfully in multiple agility venues with her canine partners since 2006. In the past decade, she has expanded her training goals for her dogs, giving them opportunities to develop skills in barnhunt, scentwork, musical freestyle, trick training, and frisbee. She credits Captain Spectacular (AKA Spec), a brilliant beagle mix, for inspiring her to form K9 Star Productions.  “He showed me some amazing tricks and set the bar really high for his K9 housemates.” Her other performance partners include Dan, Why, Billy, Tewksbury, Enola, and Zoya (See Meet the Stars). While she continues to compete with the dogs in agility, musical freestyle, and frisbee games, her passion is creating entertaining performances that combine canine athleticism, dance, music, and storytelling.

“I have a lot of dogs with a lot of skills. They entertain me daily, and I wanted to share that with others. I think the dogs draw people in and make them smile. We can use this to raise awareness about responsible pet ownership, fundraise, and to just spread a little joy.”
